Coventry and Warwickshire Food and Drink Awards

The Coventry and Warwickshire Food and Drink Awards have been running since 2002 and encourage and reward quality and excellence as well as the innovative use of fresh local produce.

The awards are divided into eight categories and the Agra Palace has been entered into the Best Ethnic Experience category since 2004. A consistent performer, the Agra Palace won the award in 2005 and 2008 (jointly) and was placed in the runner-up (Highly Commended) position in 2004, 2006 and 2007. British Curry Awards

The British Curry Awards aim to promote the highest standards of achievement within the spice industry as well as tracking all aspects of marketing excellence.

Established since 2005, the awards recognise the best curry restaurants in the UK. Winners are chosen by an expert judging panel and categorised by region. The Agra Palace has been nominated for the past two years and has twice been recognised as a Top 100 restaurant in the UK. The Agra Palace was also a finalist for the West Midlands region in both years.

The Godiva Awards

The Godiva Awards promote and reward excellence in Coventry and Warwickshire and have become the leading event in the region recognising businesses with creativity, flair, ingenuity and commitment.

The Agra Palace has been entered into the Best Restaurant category since 2006, achieving a Highly Commended award that year. The format of the awards were altered the following year to Bronze, Silver and Gold placings. The Agra Palace achieved a Bronze award in 2007, followed by a Silver award in 2008.
